I like to send gift baskets. I think they offer a more personal touch than just a bouquet of flowers, even if they are still prepared and delivered by someone else. I’m a fan of sites like edible arrangements and 1-800-Flowers (even if they do send stupid emails), but recently I was made aware of a really cool site for sending gift baskets – GreatArrivals.com Gift Baskets.
They have some really cool arrangements specifically for people who have just given birth. I know other sites, like the ones I mention above also do these things, but I was impressed by the selection they offer and the price, which in my opinion, is cheaper than those other sites for similar product orders.
I use local shops when appropriate, and if they can ship to my family members abroad that’s even better. When local shops don’t do the job I go online.
